A protein-packed twist on classic nachos with Protein Chili Crackers, silky melted cheese, and fresh nacho-style toppings including jalapeños — perfect for a family platter or party serving.
Ingredients
- 200 g Protein Chili Crackers
- 1–2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar + mozzarella blend recommended)
- ½ cup black beans or kidney beans (optional)
- ½ cup sweet corn (optional)
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1–2 fresh chili peppers, sliced (optional)¼ cup sliced jalapeños (fresh or pickled)
- ¼ cup chopped fresh coriander
- Sour cream, guacamole, or salsa for serving
Method
- Spread Protein Chili Crackers evenly on a serving platter.
- Spoon toppings evenly over the crackers (beans, corn, onions, jalapeños).
- Melt shredded cheese in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until silky and slightly runny. Optionally, add 1–2 tsp milk or cream for extra creaminess.
- Garnish toppings with fresh coriander.
- Serving suggestion 1 : Individual servings – serve crackers, toppings, and melted cheese in separate bowls for each person to assemble.
Serving suggestion2 : Party/family platter – pour melted cheese over the assembled platter of crackers and toppings just before serving; garnish lightly with coriander and jalapeños.
