A visually stunning platter featuring three types of skewers: lollipop-style cheese & prosciutto on breadsticks, classic beef prosciutto protein sticks, and traditional charcuterie skewers with cheese and cured meats — balanced flavors and protein-packed bites for parties or grazing boards.
Ingredients
- Breadsticks wrapped in beef prosciutto (main feature) Small soft cheese balls (bocconcini, labneh, or cream cheese) \
- Thinly sliced cured meats (beef prosciutto, bresaola, turkey prosciutto, or halal salami)
- Mini meat rolls: thinly sliced turkey or chicken + soft cheese (optional)
- Cherry tomatoes, olives, or fresh herbs for garnish
- Dips: Hummus (store-bought or homemade), Tzatziki (Greek yogurt + grated cucumber + garlic + olive oil + salt + herbs
- Plain or lightly salted breadsticks
- Optional microgreens or green shoots to secure lollipop
Method
Lollipop-Style Skewers:
- Take a small soft cheese ball and push the tip of a breadstick slightly into it.
- Wrap a thin slice of beef prosciutto or bresaola around the cheese ball.
- Optionally secure with a micro green or chive.
- Thread onto platter or individual serving stick.
Classic Prosciutto Breadstick Skewers:
- Wrap plain breadsticks with beef prosciutto.
- Optional: prepare mini meat rolls by spreading soft cheese on thin turkey or chicken slices and rolling tightly.
- Assemble on platter, adding cherry tomato, olive, or microgreen for garnish.
Traditional Charcuterie Skewers:
- Take wooden skewer and thread: mini cheese cubes or soft cheese roll, a slice of cured meat (prosciutto, bresaola, or salami), cherry tomato, olive, and fresh herb.
- Repeat until skewer is visually balanced.
- Arrange all skewer types on a platter.
- Serve with small bowls of hummus and tzatziki on the side.
