Flaky Cheese & Herb Twists

Crisp, protein-packed chicken combined with chopped fresh salad, creamy Greek yogurt, and layered on chia sliced bread with cheese and lettuce — a fresh, modern take on the classic club sandwich.

Ingredients

  • Chia Sliced Bread 2–4 slices
  • Grilled crunchy chicken breast 2–4, chopped
  • Greek yogurt 2 tbsp
  • Cucumber ¼, finely diced
  • Cherry tomatoes 4–6, finely diced
  • Lettuce or arugula Handful
  • Cheese slice 1–2 optional
  • Avocado or yogurt-based healthy sauce  1–2 tsp per layer
  • Salt & pepper To taste
  • Optional garnish: microgreens or fresh herbs

Method

  1. Lightly toast chia sliced bread.
  2. In a bowl, mix chopped grilled chicken, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, and Greek yogurt; season lightly with salt and pepper.
  3. Spread a thin layer of avocado or yogurt-based sauce on bread slices.
  4. Place lettuce on bottom slice, then top with the chopped chicken salad mixture.
  5. Add cheese slice if desired.
  6. Cover with top slice of bread and secure with a toothpick if needed.
  7. Garnish with microgreens or fresh herbs.
  8. Serve immediately.
